  • HM Treasury: Bank of England – David Ramsden appointed as deputy governor of Markets and Banking, replacing Charlotte Hogg on 4 September.
  • Department of Health: Steve Oldfield to become the first chief commercial officer in October.
  • Foreign and Commonwealth Office: Jon Wilks has been appointed Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Republic of Iraq, replacing Frank Baker in November; Nicholas Kay has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan; Jessica Hand has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Angola.
  • Home Office: Undercover Policing Inquiry – John Mitting appointed as chair.
  • Cabinet Office: Committee on Standards in Public Life – Simon Hart MP appointed as the Conservative Party member.
  • Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport: National Heritage Memorial Fund and Heritage Lottery Fund – Perdita Hunt reappointed as a trustee.

  • Suffolk Council – Sue Cook to become interim chief executive in September after Deborah Cadman stands down; By-election Results 27 July: Manchester City Council – Ali Ilyas elected for Fallowfield – Labour hold; North Dorset Council – Noc Lacey-Clarke elected for Blandford Central – Conservative gain from Independent; West Lindsey Council – Bruce Allison elected for Scotter and Blyton – Conservative hold.
