Government departments
- Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office – Pete Vowles has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in succession to Dan Chugg.
- Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy: Financial Reporting Council – Sarah Rapson to become the new Executive Director of Supervision from September.
- Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport – Laurence Geller has been appointed as a ministerial adviser on concussion in sport.
- Department for Transport: Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency – Nick Bitel named as Non-Executive Chair, replacing Shrinivas Honap who had been in the role on an interim basis.
- Ministry of Justice: Family Procedure Rule Committee – Robert Edwards reappointed as the Welsh/Cymru Cafcass nominated member.
- Department for Work and Pensions: Social Security Advisory Committee – Matthew Doyle appointed to the committee.
- Government Actuary's Department – Les Philpott named as Non-executive Director and Chair of the Management Board.
Ombudsmen
- Pensions Ombudsman – Anthony Arter will continue in his role as the Pensions Ombudsman for another year.
