The information was due to be published in a quarterly update, written in October and published in December. The DCLG’s permanent secretary is Sir Bob Kerslake, who is head of the civil service and shares responsibility for championing digital delivery across Whitehall.
A DCLG spokesperson said the department hasn’t published the information because it is not currently performing well enough: “The department’s digital strategy will be published in due course, once some practical steps related to our transition to GOV.UK have been resolved,” he said.
