  • Prime Minister's Office – The Reverend Canon Dr Flora Winfield appointed as Bishop of Selby, succeeding Bishop John Thomson following his retirement. The Reverend Barry Hill appointed as Bishop of Whitby, succeeding Bishop Paul Ferguson following his retirement. 
  • Department for Education: Office for Students – David Behan appointed as interim chair from 26 July.

Welsh Government 

  • Dr Susannah Bolton appointed as independent external chair to oversee the statutory review of the Water Resources (Control of Agricultural Pollution) (Wales) Regulations 2021. A final report and recommendations from the review to Welsh Ministers are expected by the end of March 2025.
