Social impact bonds launched

Two new Social Impact Bonds (SIBs) and a Social Outcomes Fund were launched by the Cabinet Office on 23 November.

The London Homelessness SIB will help 831 rough sleepers for three years; Essex County Council’s SIB will provide therapy and support for young people at risk.

The new fund will provide £20m to support a further 10-20 SIBs.
