- Foreign and Commonwealth Office: Richard Lindsay has been appointed British High Commissioner to Brunei.
- Department for Work and Pensions: Disability Confident Business Group - Tim Fallowfield appointed as Chair.
- Department for Education: Ofqual – Roger Taylor to become Chair.
- Ministry of Justice: Nigel Newcome's tenure as Prisons and Probation Ombudsman extended.
- Northern Ireland Office: Virginia McVea appointed as Chief Electoral Officer for Northern Ireland, replacing Graham Shields who is due to retire this month.

- Lord Speaker's Committee on the Size of the House – Lord Burns appointed as Chair; Lord Beith, Baroness Browning, Baroness Crawley, Baroness Taylor of Bolton and Lord Wakeham appointed as member of this new committee.
- European Union Committee – Lord Woolmer appointed as member.

- Jamie Reed, Labour MP for Copeland, is to stand down as MP at the end of January.
- Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee – John Stevenson replaced Adam Holloway as a member.
- Work and Pensions Committee – Royston Smith replaced John Glen as a member.

- Baroness Neville-Rolfe appointed as Commercial Secretary (Minister of State) at HM Treasury (previously Minister of State at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy).
- Lord Henley appointed as a Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Work and Pensions, remaining in his current role as a Whip.
- Lord O'Shaughnessy appointed as a Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department of Health and a Whip.
- Lord Prior of Brampton appointed as a Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (previously a Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department of Health).
