- Andrew Griffiths resigned as parliamentary under-secretary of state (minister for small business, consumers and corporate responsibility) at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
- Guto Bebb resigned as parliamentary under-secretary of state (defence procurement), at the Ministry of Defence.
- Stuart Andrew appointed as parliamentary under-secretary of state (defence procurement), at the Ministry of Defence.
- Kelly Tolhurst appointed as parliamentary under-secretary of state (minister for small business, consumers and corporate responsibility) at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
- Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy: UK Atomic Energy Authority – David Gann appointed as Chair from 1 August, replacing Roger Cashmore.
