- Cabinet Office: Civil Service Commission - Jane Burgess has been appointed as a new Civil Service Commissioner.
- Prime Minister’s Office: Ian Burnett has been appointed the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales from 2nd October.
- Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy: Competition Appeal Tribunal - Peter Anderson, Kirstin Baker, Eamonn Doran, Paul Lomas and Anthony Neuberger appointed as members.
- Home Office: Hugh Ind appointed as Director-General of Immigration Enforcement, he had been in the role on an interim basis.
- Department of Health: NHS Improvement – Richard Douglas appointed as interim Chair.
- Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs: Rural Payments Agency – Paul Caldwell appointed as chief executive, he had been in the role on an interim basis.
- Department for Culture, Media and Sport: Theatres Trust – David Blyth appointed to the board of trustees; Historic Royal Palaces – Sue Wilkinson appointed as a trustee.

- Legal Ombudsman – Kathryn Stone to stand down as chief legal ombudsman at the end of 2017.
