  • Constitution Select Committee – Lord Maclennan of Rogart discharged, Lord Wallace of Tankerness appointed as a member.
  • Communications Select Committee – Baroness Stowell of Beeston discharged, Baroness Chisholm of Owlpen appointed as a member.
  • European Union Select Committee – Lord Selkirk of Douglas and Baroness Wilcox discharged, Baroness Noakes and Lord Risby appointed as members.

  • Department for Education: Dominic Herrington to be appointed as interim national schools commissioner from September.
  • Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs: Natural England – chair Andrew Sells will retire in January 2019.
  • Department for Work and Pensions: Social Security Advisory Committee – Sir Ian Diamond has been appointed as chair
  • Foreign and Commonwealth Office: Catriona Laing CB appointed as British high commissioner to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
  • HM Treasury: Office for Budget Responsibility – Bronwyn King and Andy Curtis appointed as members.
  • Ministry of Defence: Royal College of Defence Studies – Sir Simon Gass appointed as commandant.
