The full shortlist for the 11th annual Civil Service Awards has been unveiled.

The awards cover a range of categories including best analysis and use of evidence; inspirational leadership of the year; communication; customer service; building capability and skills, and a new policy award named after the late Downing Street official Chris Martin.

Among those judging this year's accolades are permanent secretaries including the Ministry of Justice's Richard Heaton, the Scottish government's Leslie Evans, and the Department for Exiting the European Union's Oliver Robbins. Winners will be unveiled at this year's awards ceremony – run by CSW's parent company Dods – which takes place on November 24.
